ASSESSMENT

Assessment is at the heart of our business and helps clients not just in recruitment and promotion but also underpins all our 1-2-1 coaching and development, team-building and our presentation skills training.  Since communication is hugely influenced by personality we believe that integrating this into our development programmes enables us to provide ‘something extra’.  A Dutch company used us for 9 years to assess 150 managers and directors in the UK, France and Germany.
A Turkish business use us to assess all their senior management and a Finnish company used us to assess their entire start-up team.

For Recruitment and Promotion
This uses information from two or more personality questionnaires and is supplemented by an extensive, in-depth interview.  Typically, a detailed report provides information under nine headings.

For Team Development
We usually use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator™ as a platform for team building.  This helps team members to understand themselves and their colleagues, validate strengths and identify weaknesses, appreciate differences in communication styles and harness synergy to solve problems.

For Coaching, Presentation and Communication Skills
We profile people using prior to working with them on 1-2-1 coaching and on as well as on our 'open' presentation and communication skills workshops.  This enables us to understand their ‘instinctive’ style and helps us to provide feedback in ways that are appropriate to them.  Our Advanced Presentation Skills workshops are unique in this respect and have helped us to win competitive tenders with presentation conscious companies like Walt Disney.

For Organisational Culture Assessment
We use a specialised tool that enables directors and managers to profile the culture, or ‘personality’ of their organisation. Conducting two profiles, one ‘current’ and one ‘desired’ provides powerful data on those elements that may need changing and those to be retained. This is extremely helpful in gaining ‘buy-in’ from line managers and employees thus making the change process easier.

Quote
“I have found John’s ability to analyse personality in depth very valuable, both on a personal level and also in team training.  His use of, but not blind reliance on, personality profiling gives his coaching programmes a rigorous base in objective measurement.”  Dr Julian Iredale - Technical Director - NDC Infrared Engineering.
