The Intensive Presentation and Influencing Skills course fills a gap in the market for a truly personalised coaching workshop. It gives delegates an advantage in presentation and selling but as importantly it helps to improve their leadership, motivation and influencing skills. Since 1992 I have helped hundreds of people from over 30 nationalities to learn to present. Clients include GE Aviation, Walt Disney, Tetley Tea, Morgan Carbon, Estee Lauder, NHS Direct and 14 Police Services including ‘The Met’.
I am aware of no other training organisation that provides such an in-depth and personalised one day coaching workshop. This requires skilled application of Myers-Briggs™, extensive practical experience, a genuine understanding of the problems people face and the ability to help each individual overcome their particular challenges to realise their full potential. Before I set up my own business I was HR Director at Estee Lauder and Heron International. I was so poor at public speaking that I needed 5 courses over 9 years to learn to present. After I made my own breakthrough I was determined that others should be able to learn these crucial skills more easily so I developed my own course. Constantly refined it has now run for 19 years.

How can this unique course save your organisation time and money?
- This Intensive Presentation and Influencing Skills workshop delivers in 1 day what many conventional advanced courses achieve in 2 days.
- Delegates only need one working day to acquire these skills meaning less time lost off the job.
- This makes it about 40% more cost-effective and 100% more time-effective than a typical advanced course which would cost between £695 and £895.
- The quality of coaching is superior to conventional training because numbers are kept unusually small. Never more than 5 per course or 6 on in-house courses. Many other courses have 10 delegates which means less individual attention and practise.
- ‘En route feedback’ generates faster learning. Most other courses use ‘post-talk feedback’, which is much less effective at ighlighting strengths and weaknesses.
- Myers-Briggs™ profiling in advance enables me to provide personalised feedback and coaching to help each delegate capitalise on strengths and manage weaknesses. Most conventional presentation courses offer a generic ‘one size fits all’ approach.
- Many training organisations employ generalist trainers, or sub contractors with limited experience and without Myers-Briggs™ accreditation.
- Delegates use our presentation preparation guidelines to prepare in advance so that on the workshop they can concentrate on practise and feedback rather than on learning information, all of which is contained in their Course Manual and Prompt Card.
- Each delegate presents 3 times. All the presentations are filmed and delegates receive their own DVD of 50-60 minutes duration. This means they can review and reinforce the learning repeatedly in the weeks and months after the course.
- Advanced NLP techniques enable me to give extra help to delegates who really fear presenting. Although rare this has proved very valuable for a number of my clients.
